Steps
- 01 Pull two shots of espresso. While they’re brewing, fill your glass with ice.
- 02 Add the vanilla syrup directly to the hot espresso. Stir for ten seconds — the warmth dissolves the syrup so it doesn’t sit at the bottom of your drink.
- 03 Pour the syrup-espresso over the ice. Let it cool for fifteen seconds.
- 04 Add the milk in a slow pour over the back of a spoon for the layered look. Stir before drinking.
- 05 Optional: top with cold foam (½ cup of milk + 1 tsp syrup, frothed for 30 seconds).
